VOID // GIST 's dark timbre conjures up images of a white winter landscape. Consisting of bass, drums and guitar, their sound is transcending genre, mainly resides between post-punk and cold wave, interspersed with psychedelic ambience. The songs are minimalistic and raw, noisy guitars will embrace you and take you on a journey through mysterious woods. VOID // GIST have played shows including the Reeperbahn-Festival 2012 as well as supporting gigs for Holograms, Cosmonauts and more (under their old name Alpha Waves)

In the beginning was pure goofiness, reckless fun just for the fun of it. After impacting head-on with this fast-paced, modern, dehumanizing world, a smiley-face with fangs, heavily compressed down to less than a pinpoint in hyper-dimensional volume, imploded to become the artist Spastic Goofball.
