"He is best known for his work with Ed Rush, fellow head of the Virus Recordings label, and as a pioneer of the techstep and neurofunk sound. His first single for Metalheadz, 'To Shape the Future'/'Raging Calm' (1997) and his collaborative material with Ed Rush, such as the Wormhole, album (1998) were archetypal developments in the style. The duo followed this debut album with The Creeps (2000) and The Original Doctor Shade (2003), as well as countless singles and remixes. An amalgamation of a detailed sound design taking on various music styles, from electronic, contemporary classical and experimental music to cinematic, ambient and avant-garde, in several compositions.
Nowadays, teaches in Music Technology & Sound Engineering courses, works as a freelance composer, music producer and mastering engineer for various artists & labels releases.

Burr Oak is the collaborative Drum & Bass project of French producers The Clamps and Opsen (formerly of Signs), uniting their visions around a dark, cinematic strain of Neurofunk. With releases on imprints such as Trendkill, Eatbrain, Blackout and Cause4Concern, they craft high-impact music where ruthless sound design, rock energy and emotive songwriting collide.

Their debut album "Somewhere We Belong" on Eatbrain marked a turning point, an 18-track odyssey that firmly positioned Burr Oak at the forefront of modern neurofunk. The record unfolds as a narrative built around their outlaw alter egos Scruggs and Sonny Jim, blending worldbuilding, dystopian atmospheres and dancefloor pressure into a cohesive universe.

Through a series of EPs, including "Hawkeye" and "Zero Alpha", and their remixed LP "Somewhere It’s Reborn", Burr Oak has continued to expand this sonic lore, pushing their hybrid of industrial textures, emotional melodies and razor-sharp groove. Their catalogue extends further via collaborations and remixes for labels like Blackout and Evolution Chamber, notably the single "I Want You" with Magnetude and their acclaimed remix of Pythius' "Erase Me" on Blackout, which brought a particularly fresh and forward-thinking twist to the original, alongside numerous high-profile reworks for scene heavyweights.

Rooted in the intensity of 90s alternative music and driven by a "music for the struggled generations" ethos, Burr Oak treats each release as a self-contained chapter: a blend of narrative, sound design and impact that looks unapologetically toward the future of Drum & Bass.

Emmanuel Jacob is a composer and producer with active presence in professional music libraries for media since 2014. Having a dilemma as a child/teenager to become either an astrophysicist or a musician, he understood that both are based on math - but, the fact that music is the artistic dialect of the mathematic language, the path of music composing was full of promises. Since the announcement of the 1st prize winning of the #DISCOVERY competition organized by Orchestral Tools in collaboration with - EMMY winning, Jeff Russo, in November 2020, Emmanuel Jacob started a collaboration with "OT" becoming the key composer for numerous of sample libraries made by the industry leading of professional virtual instruments company. Andrea Lunghi AKA Dust has been releasing psychedelic trance music since 2008, always keeping on evolving and defining his cutting-edge, broad soundscape from night-time underground full-on tunes to daytime kick-ass dance floor stompers.
His tracks are imprinted with his easily recognizable touch and you can hear them pounding at most of the psy-trance events around the globe. Many releases followed Dust’s debut album “I don’t like psychedelics” on Looney Moon records in 2012, such as “My friends love psychedelics” in March 2013, “Explicit Content” in 2014 , “Hippie Blaster” in 2016 together with Lunatica, “Loonacy” in 2017 with Obliviant , “Wanamatcha” in 2017, “Thirteen” in 2022 and “Always on line “ with Peace-ka in 2024.
Aside from his solo project, Dust has a role in many collaboration projects: Loonacy (with Obliviant), Foam (with Assioma) and Dustinface (with Phase) and Assault Junkies with Peace-ka.

4DigitalAudio was set up by Grant Collins and James Monro in the summer of 2008. With over 30 years of experience between them in the dance music scene, and having been writing music together as 4D since 1997 (with several releases on Flying Rhino Records, Iboga and Flow) it was decided that now was the time to create their own platform from which to release their brand of cutting edge and highly polished techno/electronica.
