The Bologna based artist, and DJ had struck an auditory nerve when her entry for the aptly named, ‘This Is Not… A Mix’ series played through my home speakers. Her choices were eclectic, deep, and full of emotion. Showcasing her musical knowledge and storytelling ability. With this in mind, we’re incredibly happy to premiere another mix, for another Sunday. Eugenia has done it again, and we couldn’t be happier!

To celebrate the fifteenth release of the ÆX series the Amsterdam label presents a special collaboration with Delsin Records. ÆX started back in 2017 as a white-label offshoot from the Indigo Aera imprint, Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff had a plan to create a platform with a mix of like-minded unknown, well-known and admired artists. This no-nonsense approach with stamped white labels and uncredited tracks quickly grew up to be one of their most committed projects to date.

Four years later and fourteen releases in, ÆX015 is a special split EP in collaboration with the closely related Delsin Records. Both labels invited three names to present a fresh and dancefloor focussed pack of grooves and moods.

On ÆX's a-side, three familiar faces Taupe, Emeline (also known as the Parisian artist Molly) and label curator Jasper Wolff bring their warm, acidic, bass-heavy grooves in typical fashion. The b-side comes from Delsin who introduces three new artists to the team. R.O.W.S from the Swedish sewer sender crew going in with a miles-deep dub-techno take. From Barcelona, it's Annie Hall with an emotive blend of her crispy electro. At last there's Yone-ko @yone-ko wrapping up the pack with grooving subtle hazy house moods.

Ben Kaczor and his project, KCZ/CZT/KCZX, are no strangers to Delayed. Kaczor is a man of many talents, ranging from visual art, to music production and DJing, to booking and curating, which he does for the revered TAG in Chengdu, China. Today, we’re happy to premiere “Lights” from “Sun Chapter One” LP, his first release of 2022. The LP goes from lush deep house to dub techno, both done very skillfully and coherently.
“Lights” starts out with sharp high hats from the get go, as a haunting pad enters, eventually being supported by a thumping kick. As the track goes on, various pops and clicks occur throughout. This structure is sustained until the eighth minute of the ten minute voyage, when bell-like chimes begin eerily, while the percussive elements come to a halt, as the track comes to its conclusion.
The “Sun Chapter One” LP comes out on April 1st, 2022, on KCZ. The release will be available physically, digitally, and via streaming services.
