progettosonoro è Marco Mascia, accumulatore seriale (e parallelo) di strumenti musicali e oggetti sonori e (non)musicista. Dal 2007 fa parte (con Manuel Lain) del duo Le Pecorecaramellate che ha all'attivo un Cd (Una botte e via! edito da Sesto Esercizio Records) e ha partecipato (Cagliari, 10 Ottobre 2015, Nuovo Panificio) al Multiversal EXP-OFF. 
Il 1 Maggio 2016, sempre al al Nuovo Panificio, ha partecipato, con la Roaring Pianolas Orchestra, alla perfomance live "pianoltre"

CHRIS GATE is a German Composer & Producer and works since 1996 with focus on Electronic Music. He is also part of the VORTEX ELEMENTS Project.

HISTORY: First he started with the Collaboration-Project NOISE CONSTRUCTION in 1996 and got the chance to release two tracks in 1998 on Millennium-Storm Records (Hannover/Germany) and its first Techno-Trance Sampler. But unfortunately the distribution of the disc failed and the label decided to discontinue its work. 
To get some new experience, a partnership of NOISE CONSTRUCTION with CJ MILLER as an upcoming DJ was a nice chance to get a new focus on straight Club sounds. 
The work of Noise Construction was discontinued at the beginning of 1999 and CHRIS GATE began to focus on his Solo-Project.
In 2003 he founded the collaboration project VORTEX ELEMENTS together with Sonic Chain, which can be discovered on Soundcloud. After some years his musical view changed from Club & Trance-Style to more classical Electronic Music Style.
During the time, he did some REMIXES for SNAP & BLANK & JONES (Remix-contests) and some of his own tracks as well.
Actually it´s the intention of CHRIS GATE to get some new Contacts , to improve the musical artwork and getting in contact with people who like his tracks.

In the past, a photographer was also called a light-image designer (LichtBildGestalter in german).

I returned after the hearing loss (deaf in the right ear) and a long abstinence to electronic music in 2014/16.
While I used to make music exclusively on hardware synthesizers in my early days, a number of virtual instruments are now in use. My DAW is Ableton Live with a lot of Plugins ;-)
For many years, I have only been able to hear on one hearing. This makes it difficult for me to mix them but I give my best.
Besides music, photography is my great passion, that's also where my artist name comes from. Therefore all pictures and photos that can be seen on Sondcloud are my own work.

VORTEX ELEMENTS is the Collaboration-Project of Sonic Chain & Chris Gate founded in 2003. Since 2009, the project has devoted itself to more traditional EM with a modern touch, which was initially created as studio sessions and then the finished tracks were arranged, giving them the right "flow".
The songs from this time were recorded on the album "Decennium Edition 2003-2013".
Since the Corona pandemic in 2020, the collaboration has shifted strongly to a way of working through a regular mutual exchange of projects via the web.
In this context, the album "Distance" was released in 2022.
The album "Wavement" was released in November 2024, characterized by strong ambient influences.

We are currently looking for partners who will move our music forward:
Labels, A&Rs, producers, etc., simply people with the right relationships.

So please don´t hesitate to get in contact with us.
