Since moving to Berlin in 2014, UK-born DJ and producer Anil Chawla, aka Amotik, has carved out a distinct place in modern techno. Known for his versatile, layered closing sets that emphasise atmospheric storytelling through tension and release, he has built a reputation as a dynamic figure both in the DJ booth and the studio.

In recent years, Amotik has expanded his artistic scope. He launched AMTK+, a sub-label providing a platform for like-minded artists with a shared musical vision. He also collaborated with Answer Code Request on a bass-heavy record for Delsin, giving both artists space to explore their UK and breaks roots. Most recently, he showcased a lighter side with select house sets at Panorama Bar in Berlin, Merge in New York, and Radion in Amsterdam. His touring schedule has taken him to iconic venues such as Berghain, Fold, De School, and Khidi, while he maintains residencies at the revered Goethebunker in Essen and Pax-Romana in Amsterdam.

Alongside notable releases on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure, Amotik's critically acclaimed albums Vistār and Patanjali have further cemented his reputation as a visionary producer, earning praise from Mixmag and Groove Magazine. 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of his self-titled imprint - not just a milestone, but a testament to perseverance, proving that consistency, dedication, and staying true to one’s sound can shape a lasting career in an ever-evolving scene.

Guitarist, bassist, studio geek currently making tracks and remixes in the modern Disco scene as one third of @paperstreetsoul plus other guises such as Slync, Dark Horse Disco and more alongside various session jobs for a bunch of other projects.

Productions have found their way on to Vinyl & Digital labels including Pole Jam/Pole Position, Hot Digits, Sprechen, Masterworks, Paper Disco, Citizens of Vice, Spa in Disco, Rare Wiri, Clandestine Boogie & Toolroom including a number of top selling releases on the likes of Juno Download and occasionally making the Top 100 end of year producer lists on Traxsource.

Bespoke media music of various genres also composed for household names such as Ericsson, Bridgestone Tyres, FIFA World Cup, CNN, Emirates and more for broadcast on TV and Radio Worldwide.

Berlin based multidisciplinary Artist and DJ!

Pain and pleasure, and the alchemy of converting one to the other through expression is more than a motif in Narciss’ music, it’s the theme.  

At times it’s a lilting melody strung atop a shuffle of percussive activity, at others a thrumming reverie, heavy laden with low end and much more besides, but this variance of sounds inevitably resonates deep inside.  Throughout the entirety of their musical progression, Narciss has been indefatigable in their endeavours, which are motivated by the connection and catharsis that their music cultivates.  This desire to share the transformative powers of music has not only imbued their output with an enticing and revelrous timbre, it has fostered collaborations with like-minded souls like Gerd Janson and DJ Boring, among others.

“There’s a red thread that I’ve been weaving through my life” says Narciss of their journey.  As an artist, a queer person, a partner, and a human alive, the road they’ve walked has changed as it has changed them.  The story unfolding thus far, in singles and EP’s as stanzas and chapters, tells of their trials and of their persistence in overcoming them.  Styles evolved and sounds found and discarded alike, Narciss carries what they need and leaves to the past what’s in the past.  The constant throughout their life and career, which is at the heart of their creative expression, is both a personal mantra and manifestation of their oeuvre - Per Aspera Ad Astra, “through hardships to the stars.”

Budino is an Italian DJ and producer who has been based in Berlin since 2012. Every free moment is devoted to digging for new music and exploring fresh ways to weave her discoveries together. Her sets unfold like psychedelic tapestries, blending industrial beats, tribal percussion, and rich sonic textures.
Over the years, Budino has refined her craft through unique edits and reworks that bring new life and versatility to the rare gems she tirelessly unearths. After a decade playing Berlin’s most iconic queer dance floors, her deep connection with New York City led her to co-found the label Sonic Dream Recordings, while also running her own party, Nothing Special, in both Berlin and NYC.
In addition to her work behind the decks and in the studio, Budino was invited to curate the fourth edition of Love International Festival’s compilation series, The Sound of Love International. 
Budino has performed at some of the world’s most legendary clubs and festivals, including Panorama Bar, Fabric, Club Raum, Basement, Horst Festival, Houghton, Dekmantel Selectors, Making Time, as well as delivering exciting back-to-back sets with Tiga and Ivan Smagghe. She is also co-authoring a book with Bill Brewster, exploring Italian dance music culture and the art of DJing from 1965 to 1995, coming out in 2026.

Before I got into this music I wanted to be an originator ; I wanted to be original".
Founding member of the legendary group Underground Resistance as a 'Minister Of Information' with ‘Mad’ Mike Banks & Jeff Mills, his seminal works on Jeff Mill's Axis and his very own M-Plant imprint paved the way for a wave of stripped-down dancefloor minimalism that directed much of techno's path throughout the late Nineties.
Robert Hood makes minimal Detroit techno with an emphasis on soul and experimentation over flash and popularity. 

"Growing up in Detroit, I grew up with Motown in the house - a lot of Motown and Philadelphia soul, artists like Marvin Gaye of course and Curtis Mayfield. I remember Isaac Hayes, the soundtrack from ‘Shaft’ had come out. My father was a jazz musician; he played piano, trumpet and drums. My mother was in an R’n’B group.
We listened to a lot of Motown - in fact, my grandfather’s first cousin is Berry Gordy.

In the early 90's he began to concentrate on his own production 'Vision EP', the 'Riot EP' and X-102 were big stepping-stones for him as they were the first releases he worked 100% on his own. The X-101 to X-102, were Waveform Transmission projects with Mills for Tresor. He slowly progressed to work more and more on his own, but collaberated on some of the first Axis releases with label owner Jeff Mills as H&M (Hood & Mills) with ‘Tranquilizer EP’ and ‘Drama’.

He soon decided it was time for him to start his own label to focus on what was in his soul musically. M-Plant started in ’94. I had developed this “grey area” sound - what I mean by that is that in Detroit, even when the sun is out, there’s something in the atmosphere. I don’t know if its pollution or whatever, but the sky has that grey haze over it. It’s got to be something from the industrial factories there. I’d never really heard a sound like that before and it came from a Roland Juno - it was a chord sound that really went along with my depiction of what Detroit was at that time. A lot of buildings were abandoned and there was a lot of lifelessness in the city, especially downtown. The M-Plant, in minimalism, kind of reflected that. I remember thinking of Detroit like a museum. You know, like a work of art standing still, suspended in time. There wasn’t a whole lot of activity going on.

Releasing singles such as "Internal Empire,", “The Protein Valve” "Music Data," and "Moveable Parts", "The Pace", more recently "Range", "Alpha" and that isn't even touching his other monikers Floorplan, Monobox, The Vision, etc.
"M-Plant is what I've always wanted to hear: the basic stripped down, raw sound. Just drums, basslines and funky grooves and only what's essential. Only what is essential to make people move. I started to look at it as a science, the art of making people move their butts, speaking to their heart, mind and soul. “It's a heart-felt rhythmic techno sound. M-Plant is just M. minimal. “

Although his desire to remain underground has been replaced by an urge to reach a wider audience, mainly via his housier, disco, gospel moniker Floorplan with his daughter Lyric Hood,   Hood remains fiercely critical of artistic and economic movements destructive to inner-city communities and has combined his musical enterprises with outreach and social activist ends.

ONNI started his career in his hometown, Istanbul but in 2017 he took a step towards an international career by moving to Berlin. Since then he has been a familiar face playing regularly at Berlin clubs like Katerblau and Sisyphos but also on festivals like Garbicz, expanding to many shows worldwide.

His music takes the crowd on a journey through a wide range of genres, from tribal to deep techno to indie dance and also you can hear him adding a mix of oriental sound, which he grew up with, on his sets.

His EP ‘Indie Car’ was released in early 2023 by Stil Vor Talent’s recently re-launched sub label ‘Light My Fire’ and has reached great support from artists around the world and from Oliver Koletzki itself.
