This is a look back on some of my favorite beats from 2008 to 2010. Most are from 2009, from an EP I made while living in Shanghai, titled "In Shanghai." 
I had challenged myself with a stopwatch to make beats in 30 minutes or less. Most of these beats were made this way, Sometimes I used the same drum kits or sampled from the same source, but these were mostly all different in feeling but kept the same style. Very simple beats but out of the hundreds I've made in those years, these were definitely my favorites! 
I hope you enjoy these as much as I had fun making them.
