Synth Hip Hop using the acapella from Method Man's track "M.E.T.H.O.D." 
I made this when I had a few hours between classes during finals week in college. Why study when you have Buzz Tracker?

That Simple Type of Method Feat. Method Man

The popular thing has been to take out a section from a soul record, loop it, chop the loop and arrange. I've never really cared to do that, but I attempted here. I got lazy. Super lazy. Kicks all over the place and every track was on a different tick per beat. 17, 18, 10, and 9 ticks per beat! LOL. I copied and pasted this loop 20 times and the beat was finished.

Night Loop

Another slow and lazy beat in the same method as the first Night Loop. I think I'll do a series of these because they're simple and fun to make. The drum kit and melody samples came from the same album.

Night Loop 2

Made in the library at school while I was looking out the window at the sunny day. Something simple and Lo-fi. A little bit of swing and some open spaces. 6 samples used (5 for the drums) and one synth for the sine wave bass blips.

Trust Me

After last night's beat I decided to make a fresh beat with new samples. I heard the bass and immediately thought of Pete Rock. I decided to take it in the Boom Bap direction and flipped the same appropriately. Real simple, real smooth. I ate a bunch of yogurt while making this.  The sample was very difficult to work with, as the crashing hats really got in the way of the guitar.

Mindfulness (Pete Rock imitation)

I re-used a sample already used in another beat on here. I made some slightly-swinging hats and added a simple beat over it. I ate two donuts while making this. Food inspires my music. LOL. The blurry photo that goes with this was taken when I lived in Shanghai.

Night Loop 3

I'm 32 and I've always liked trackers, especially when it comes to making Hip Hop with them. Jeskola Buzz Tracker is my choice!
