Maatouk is a Mexican DJ and producer with several years of experience in the electronic music scene in Mexico. Since his debut as a solo artist, he has performed at clubs and events across Mexico, consistently delivering energizing and vibrant sets that blend a variety of genres, including Downtempo, Dark Disco, Afrohouse, and Indie Dance.

He is the founder of the @tarab.wav project, a collection of sets curated by him and various guests. This project is built on the concept that music transcends language and aims to connect with diverse audiences while celebrating ethnic unity and diversity through music.

Topped off with the tornado burn of the Tree of Stories, it was just the most insane cosmic dreamy night at the burn. Deep gratitude for the magic of life and for spaces where we can come together to connect in unity through music, art and sharing from the heart 🌪️
