Laima Adelaide - Opening set Tresor Berlin (new faces), 04.09.2024

Here is the recording of my opening set for new faces at Tresor Berlin.
In this format I only played my own productions and a few remixes. Also it was a challenge to create a storyline with a fixed set of tracks. 
I started to release this sound in 2020 and it has given me a lot of joy to work on music (and also some pain now and then), meet people from the scene and travel to places to perform.

How would you describe your sound?
Rooted in modern techno and touched by classic influences, our sound grows from the atmosphere of each venue and the energy of its crowd. Every set aims to be raw yet uplifting, guiding listeners into a hypnotic flow where the music and the moment become one. 

Which artists inspire you?
scene legends like DVS1, producers like AADJA, local 
heroes like Vincent Neumann and the endless Clubnights
at Berghain on a Monday morning. 

Are there any upcoming Gigs, releases, projects?
Our debut at the Global Space Odyssey this year and a 
self-curated event at Werk II with our collective 
LPZG Callin in October.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR SOUND? 

I don't want to limit myself to one specific sound, but I'm definitely more on the deep and introspective side of techno with a lot of atmosphere. - always trying to find a good balance between abstraction and musicality.

WHICH ARTISTS INSPIRE YOU? 

Too many to name them all...
One I have to mention is 'Richie Hawtin', who has been a huge inspiration for me from early on til this day.
also 'Recondite' and more experimental and hardware-based artists like 'JakoJako' or 'Nadia Struiwigh'

ARE THERE ANY UPCOMING GIGS, RELEASES, PROJECTS?

I'm invited to play at 'Room 909' on 19.09. in a more private setting.
My next EP is already finished and waiting to be released in the end of 2025 or beginning of 2026.
