🎸 About the Cover:
"For No One" is a track from 'Loud Silence,' a collection of chill, emotive, and mostly acoustic covers that are not for release. These are songs that reflect my mood state in between the production of the singles released commercially. It's deliberately of lower production quality.

"For No One" is originally a song by The Beatles from their 1966 album "Revolver." Written by Paul McCartney and credited to the Lennon-McCartney partnership, it is a melancholic ballad about the end of a relationship. The song stands out for its classical influence and the use of a clavichord, an uncommon instrument in pop music.

In this cover, I connect deeply with the song, as The Beatles have been a massive inspiration throughout my life. When I was 9 years old, I would sing their songs in the shower and pretend that I was performing in front of a large crowd. This cover reflects that nostalgic connection and my deep appreciation for their music.

In 2023 I teamed up with Mauricio Mirapalheta, a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist with deep roots in metal and punk. Our collaboration has turned what was originally planned as a solo project into a band named Wágner. Mauricio is also responsible for engineering and producing all of our music.

We continue to be busy in the studio, working on new original songs that will be part of a forthcoming album entitled 'It's Only Just Begun' and some reimagined iconic covers that will be packaged together on the soon to be released 'Sonic Memories.'

Several of the tracks have already been released as singles. They are out now and available everywhere.

I'm Wágner, a NYC native now based in Orlando, Florida, and the former lead singer of the mid-nineties alternative rock band, Nerve.

My musical journey began at 15 with the recording of two demos, "Dust" and "Visions of You." A year later, these demos were reimagined for my first commercial release, a debut EP titled 'A Way of Life.' This EP featured a radio mix and dance remix of "The Third Wave of Sorrow," produced and engineered by Rob "Bung" Bengston at The Workshoppe Recording Studios. Known for its work with The Fixx's Cy Curnin and housing Blondie's "Betrok Tapes," the studio's reputation was further enhanced by the guest appearance of Victor Loud, renowned touring and session drummer for Billy Idol, who contributed both drum and additional percussion parts.

An immediate hit at New Wave clubs, this debut EP was released by Novus Records and nationally distributed through Important Record Distributors, which later became Relativity Entertainment Distribution (RED) in the 199s, and ultimately Sony/RED Distribution.
