multi-percussionist as a trade. Tama fell in love with African Music and went to Burkina Faso to study percussion, and in 98 moved to London to study music. Morley college, lambeth college, Goldsmith University and Metropolitan University in conjunction with community Music. Tama studied with various well renowned musicians; Oli Savil, Mamady Keita, Giovanni Hidalgo, Egui Castrilho, Luis Conte and many others.
Tama lived in London for 24 years and played and collaborated with a huge variety of musical genres, from jazz standards to latin music to Afrobeat and eclectic music and is at present one of the Facilitators for the Well known Team building interactive drumming company (DrumCafe) and he Traveled to all continents and many countries all around the globe. (or all across the flat earth for those who believe that) Tama also worked proficiently as a music teacher in various schools across the Big London where he developed a sense of delivering contextual and complex rhythms with ease both practical and theoretical.
Now Tama lives in Lisbon and started to focus more into composition which is been an all old passion. one as to keep reinventing himself because we grow till we are no more!
