end of summer Jam with Electribe 2s Hacktribe. I recently listened some DnB stuff from late 90s / early 00s and i re discovered the classic tech step tune "Bacteria" from Ed Rush & Optical and it's peculiar reece bass. I know that the original it's a sample but i recreated the same kind of sound with the E2s internal synth (various saw waves with detuning), i copied the same sound in 3 different track and applied different filters and processing: for the bass tone a low pass filter with saturation, for the mid bass a band pass filter with rhythmic LFO and phaser, for the hi bass also an LFO but on volume, hi pass filter and flanger. With these basses and some other FM synth and electronic drums i made some 140 beats with a 90s flavour. Enjoy!
