A successful balance between background ostinato and overriding developing melody, very clearly expressed. Nice one !

Compositions all based on one (or more) of three different musical motifs. The motifs appear in many different forms - transposed, played with new accompaniments or in new meters, reworked with new melodies or rhythms, reversed, stretched out, chopped up, etc. 

See if you can hear the recurring motifs throughout the album if you give it a listen, and see if they start to feel more familiar over time when at first they might feel rather strange. I hope you enjoy!

I was honoured to get a message from Mark Sartori (@user-83791253-79179570), whose music & guitar playing I'm a big fan of, asking if I might want to collaborate on one of his pieces of music. He suggested I add some percussion to his guitar, and this is what came together. Mark S has since recorded a new, solo version of the song as well. 

Thanks Mark, for giving me the nod to work with you on this really fine & catchy tune. Hope folks dig this pan-Pacific partnership!
