We are proud to announce the birth of Brutal Spirit, a new sublabel under Akashic Records. Born out of a passion for the raw, hard-hitting energy of old-school hard techno, Brutal Spirit is a stand against the shallow TikTok-driven hype. This label is dedicated to the true techno heads, the ones who crave the underground sound and the unrelenting pulse of real, authentic techno. The debut EP, from label boss The Sixth Sense, features four original tracks that embody the essence of underground hard techno. Brutal Spirit is here, and it’s ready to shake the foundation of the scene.

Opening the compilation on a rumbling note, laced with rippling basslines and psychedelic patterns, Mama Told Ya affiliate Less Distress contributes the earworm 'Sensory Overload'; the hint is in the name.
