To be a successful house music producer, you have to make tracks that DJs want to play. And, to be a good DJ, you have to play music that inspires people to move their asses. Simple in theory, but not in execution. Wally Callerio’s inherent ability to do both — and to do both well — has served him justly over the last two decades, establishing him as an artist with talent, vision and staying power in a genre that has navigated tumultuous highs, lows and growing pains in between.   

With over 30 years of experience behind the decks and in the studio under his belt, Callerio has put out a remarkable 250 original tracks and remixes on over 50 labels worldwide. Most recently, his music has been released on such respected heavyweights as Defected, Cajual, Farris Wheel Recordings, Grin Music and Sampled Recordings. In addition, Callerio has earned accolades under his alter ego moniker Poncho Warwick, consistently ranking as a top annual pick for best chillout artist on Beatport.  

In his role as Music Supervisor for “Unconscious Therapy,” a documentary released in April 2016 that chronicles the rise and evolution of house music via the lens of Frankie Knuckles and his fellow innovators, Callerio took on the crucial responsibility of​ ​ licensing and curating the film’s soundtrack.​ ​ He is also a featured artist in the documentary, alongside Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Masters at Work and a bevy of other house icons.   

Possessed of an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to embrace change, Callerio has earned and enjoyed enduring success as both an artist and label-owner. Los Angeles-based Dufflebag Recordings, which Callerio launched in 1998, has been churning out deep and funky grooves suffused with soulful vocals since its inception, and the label boasts an impressive roster of artists that includes Demarkus Lewis, Manjane, Alysha Kid, Corduroy Mavericks, JT Donaldson, Natural Rhythm, Ryan Truman and R&B legend Jon B. under his moniker Jah Ques.

Eduardo Higareda Aka. Edd Turner Influenciado principalmente por la música de los 80s y 90s jamas había pasado por su cabeza la música electrónica y es hasta la edad de 16 años cuando tiene su primer acercamiento con dicho genero, asistiendo a eventos locales de Drum & Bass, Techno y House Music, nace su gusto hacia el armonioso y delicado sonido del House Music, un par de años después encuentra inspiración en amigos djs despertando una curiosidad por comenzar a ser dj y buscar la manera de mezclar los tracks que en su momento le inspiraron y marcaron el comienzo de una carrera como dj. 

Al paso de los años Edd Turner aprende, pule y perfecciona técnicas en sus mezclas que hoy lo consolida como un dj versátil en cada una de sus sesiones y claramente influenciado por sonidos como el Chicago House, Jazzy House y Jackin House.

Eduardo es perteneciente a la gran oleada y escena de djs que otorgo el Estado de México en el año 2000, cuya entrega, pasión y dedicación lo hizo formar parte de los colectivos mas influyentes y sobresalientes del país como: Saturday Night Funktions (SNF), House Salad y Mexican House Unity, mismos colectivos que le dieron la oportunidad de formar parte de eventos con djs/productores de talla internacional y de gran reconocimiento en el ámbito underground  como lo son: Demarkus Lewis, Jazzmopper J, Hector Moralez, Wally Callerio entre otros.

Para Eduardo es de suma importancia la difusión y el apoyo a nuevos talentos, crear vínculos de fraternidad con expositores de dicho genero,  para poder reforzar la escena house en el país.

Actualmente forma parte de los colectivos "Classic Box" & "Back 2 Basic Music", grupos dedicados a la difusión del sonido clásico del House Music, los cuales buscan volver a la vieja escuela de la mezcla con vinilos.

Edd Turner hoy en día es un dj experimentado que goza de hacer lo que tanto ama y que a lo largo de 8 años a podido aprender.
