In life, the only certainty is death, of which we have no control. What we do control is what happens between birth and death. Our attitude to life, our drive and our passions dictate our outcome. It's not what we get in life that matters, it's who we become while chasing our dreams that matters.

I'm a german guitarist who always wants to play better than he can *lol*. I love the sound of the guitar and I love guitars, their beauty and their smell. Never can get enough.
I wanted to make music since I was a little kid. I urgently wanted a guitar since the age of 10, I think. Unfortunately I got my first (classic) guitar not until the age of 18 because there was not enough money to buy one earlier. Well, since I've got my first guitar I nearly play every single day one of my darlings ;-).
Making my music public on the cloud is really a great thing for me. I love this community. Such fantastic musicians here...
I'm always interested in collaborating with talented musicians.

Walter Mmari is an independent artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa, composing ambient and electronic music since the early 2000s. Walter Mmari blends neo-classical works with elements of post-rock, new age, meditation and electronic music. Walter has also branched out into film and television soundtracks earning placements in independent productions.

In our modern age of constant distraction, I believe in the healing power of music. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. Music is to the soul what words are to the mind and with these instrumental pieces I hope to take you all on a journey of introspection. Take a moment each day to listen to some calm music, to spend time with yourself, to remember who you are, to discover why you are here, and to set a course to become the best version of yourself. Empire of Lights, searing guitar, pounding drums, soaring vocals, thunderous bass.

My music pieces are all piano improvisations expressing emotions. It is music telling stories without the words. In my earIy years I sang and played piano in piano bars or fronted bands of different styles, from country to heavy metal and to 40. I've been composing, teaching and performing most of my life.  I'm getting old(er) now 😔 but the great thing about creating music is it gets better the longer you play, and you have more to write about! 

This is what I leave of me to my generations to come who wonder where their desire to make music comes from. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother were both accomplished pianists when they were young. My son is also exceptional.  My great grandmother and gr grandfather sang and danced in minstrel shows (vaudeville) in the early 1900's. Kids today have no idea what life was like before moving pictures.  I now have great-grandchildren. They will know who I am through my music. When I am gone my music will still be here. What a wonderful thought!

Matheus Miras was born in Campinas, Brazil, in 1997. He began studying guitar at the age of 9 and piano at 10. At 13, he became interested in composition through the music of J. S. Bach, marking the beginning of his artistic output. Since then, Matheus has composed over 200 pieces for various settings, such as piano, harpsichord, string quartet, string orchestra, wind quartet, symphony orchestra, SATB choir, electronic and experimental music. Miras' work is mostly polyphonic and contrapuntal in nature, though his craft is often extremely exploratory.

Starting in 2017, he studied classical piano with professor Norberto Égon Osis and classical violin with professor Antônio Carlos Gomes at the Instituto Musical Souza Campos in Campinas. At the same time, he taught himself cello. In 2019, he pursued a degree in Musical Composition at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), where he was exposed to various styles, such as electronic, experimental, and atonal music, studying under professors like José Augusto Mannis, Jônatas Manzolli, Luiz Henrique Xavier, Suzel Ana Reily, Leandro Barsalini, Fernando Hashimoto, Paulo Adriano Ronqui and Carlos Fernando Fiorini.

I love the exciting diversity of the Soundcloud universe. Here I always discover new, creative music creations and meet many nice people from all over the world. The music unites us all. SC offers me the unique opportunity to publish my own sound ideas. I am still learning and I like to be inspired. Therefore, I like to process finished songs of SC friends to new tracks. 
I don't have a preferred style. No matter whether rock, pop, disco or experimental music. No matter whether analog or digital instruments. The most important thing is that I enjoy it and like it.
