Every Fall, On Halloween or around my Later October Scorpio Birthday , I tend to let my creative inspirations flow & articulate my diary through music. This fall isn't any different and I've decided to launch a mini diary series called "Chronicles of The Night " to share some thought-after vibes and tracks that are some of my favorites at this moment.

Captain Mustache, a French music producer and DJ from Paris joins the Feincast series.

Since 2020, he has released music on some of the most respected labels in the electronic scene: Kompakt, Mobilee, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, and an album on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with consistent support from top DJ's around the world.

As a true electronic music lover, he has collaborated with some electro icons (Dave Clarke, Arnaud Rebotini, Chicks on Speed, The Advent, Keith Tucker from AUX88...), adding an extra vocal dimension to his music.

After a career milestone in 2023 with a full album called "The Super Album" on the legendary label KOMPAKT Records, he's coming with a new album called "LUZ" on beloved Berlin's label MOBILEE.

Last Day was released in 2009 on Diynamic.
I hadn’t touched this track for a long time — until it slowly found its way back into my live set.
This edit is one of those moments that only happen on stage. I’ve made many edits for my live shows, but this one was luckily recorded.
It doesn’t work for me alone in the studio — it had to happen live, in that exact moment.
Think of it more as an intro, a feeling, rather than a full dance track.

A moment of pause, like the frozen earth, to reflect on full spectrum of experiences over the past year.  At times elusive like the color blue, the light at the end of the spectrum that gets lost. The color of longing and distance. The color of there seen from here. Indigo is even more slippery, somewhere between blue and violet, representing thresholds, doorways between worlds, such as between sleep and waking, mystery, intuition, the feeling just before somethings becomes clear.

based in Bern, born in Solothurn in switzerland. played between clubs in Bern, Zurich and hometown in Solothurn mostly at hidden club.
I've been into music since I was a kid. I used to play the flute when I was six and I used to sing Michael Jackson songs. I also listened to a lot of Balkan music. When I was a teenager I bought a bass guitar and played in bands, from rhythm and blues to funk. Then I got into hip hop beats and drum and bass. Now I play the guitar and produce music for myself using digital and analogue equipment and the DAW software BitWig. I got into house music in my 20s, but I quickly realised that I liked the monotonous and melodic side of things more, so my sets are always hypnotic, melodic and driving, with elements of house, techno and the main thing: music.
