Wow, what a ride! Super stoked and full of gratitude for having the opportunity to play tunes of my favorite Bush Techno wizards on our self-built festival stage during this year's edition of Wald und Bach Festival. 

Directly following after a performance of firespinning artists, the scene was set to start melodic and funky. The session continued to get steeper — allowing to go deeper and deeper into the musical realms of contemporary and emerging Bush Techno artists. More and more, the dancefloor turned into a jungle of euphoric, organic tunes and wicked basslines. ❤️

Hello again,
after the last (and therefore first live gig I ever played) I never thought I'd be playing in front of the people anytime soon. Luckily, just one day after the last gig, my old colleague Adrian (awieage) from Fuckin Darmstadt asked me if I was playing dubstep and if I had time for a Halloween party on 27 October 23. I hesitated a little at first, but after one night's sleep it was clear - if I can make people happy and dance to my music selection, then I'd like to do it again. 
I spent the next few weeks searching for music and expanding my collection with deep and dark sounds (while almost going insane with the amounts of shit i had to dig trough). 

The second time DJing was great fun again, but I also experienced a few fuck ups.
For the first 30 minutes I dared to play without sync without any problems, but when I made a small mistake, I no longer dared and switched. I have to get over this fear that a set has to be perfect and that if I play once or twice slightly out of sync for one second, that it's not the end of the world.
I also really like to dig and well... I was digging too hard. My second lesson is that I can't really play every track on a decent sound system. I also had tracks that didn't really have a lot of power and didn't sound good enough imho. As I'm not feeling the first half hour of the set that much and there were also some not so good tracks, I decided to only upload the last hour of it.

Overall, I would say that Halloween was a great theme to play a darker set than when I played for the first time. Looking back, I also enjoyed the tracks I chose here more than I did in my first set. I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that I've improved my DJ skills over the last two months - but it would be sad if I hadn't. Nevertheless, I still have a lot to learn and practise. 

I was able to fill the floor over the course of 1.5 hours, got quite a few people dancing and had a lot of fun doing it. Some of the crowd was very young - I'm sure there were people who were hearing dubstep for the first time. I'm a bit proud of myself.

I'm excited to see where my journey continues and how I will find my personal style.
