A soundtrack for the book by Stanislaw Lem... The story in short: Mankind tried to  probe and understand the ocean of the far distant planet Solaris, wich seems to be a kind of a living beeing. Strange things are happening on the station hovering above the planets ocean (read the book!!!!). The psychologist Kris Kelvin arrives at the spacestation.  In the end, he lands on the surface of the planet and touches the ocean... an experience that changes him...

We live in the third dimension. Three-dimensional space is a geometric three-parameter model of the physical universe in which all known matter exists. Without the 3 dimensions, we have no space in time.

The FOURTH Dimension has been studied and researched by mathematicians and philosophers for over two centuries. It can explained as a spiritual awakening, the jumping of time. It is that life defining moment before 'shit gets real'. That moment of clarity, or that time you were able to get that extra breathe in before you jump in head first. That moment when time stands still, when everything becomes clear, and nothing else matters.

A new kind of ambient for me, and the "material" behind this is improvisation on  electric violin, via a guitar amp.

Hopefully this will encourage me to use the violin more. Perhaps it'll become more audible, even!

Ambivion

After being absent from Soundcloud for almost a month now, i am glad to return with a collaboration with the very talented Nathalie B20.
My track was a simple intrumental and she brought it to life with her sweet voice and sound effects. She also had the idea for the lyrics and story to the track.

'Dreamers' is a track that can best be described as a 'challenge accepted'. Jerry spotted an opportunity on Songtradr and asked if I was interested in creating something for it.  We had to create something similar to Beach House's 'Myth'. The only thing was, we had way less than a day to get this done, and I was only just getting my voice back after losing it through illness. So this is what we came up with, and submitted it with 3 mins to spare. Hope you enjoy our creation and thanks so much to Jerry for getting me to sing again :) Peace and love x
