he 18-year-old has been drumming up attention by gigging around Yorkshire and beyond, including a sold out date in Hull and a support slot for percussive guitarist Jon Gomm in Norwich. Conman is also getting a name for himself, having appeared on BBC Radio Humberside in early September. He is set to go on tour in November, with the dates yet to be announced.

Talking about the inspiration for Misty Central, Conman said: "The song is about getting into a relationship where it just sort of happens and progresses into a grey area, where there hasn't been a discussion of what the relationship actually is and who you are to each other. I think a fair few people have been in this situation. It's like you're just waiting for each other to confirm what the hell is going on. It's a place I call Misty Central."

Conman also talked about how working with Warren Records and PRS Foundation has helped his career, saying: “Thanks to the support from PRS Foundation and Warren Records I have finally managed to establish myself as an artist with this debut single. Having them on board meant we could produce this single, video and artwork and have great support with the direction of my music.”

'The Wren And The Salt Air' is a collection of songs and tunes to celebrate 30 years of St Kilda’s World Heritage Site status for nature. The music was written by Jenny during a visit to St Kilda in September 2016 and the tracks feature field recordings of island birds, including the distinctive St Kilda Wren, Leach’s Petrel and Black-Legged Kittiwake. 

This title track features the call of St Kilda Wren.

Warren Records is a label run by the Music Team at the Warren Youth Project in Hull. 

The label was set up on the back of our appearance on Channel 4's Secret Millionaire in which the amazing Martin Stamp gave us the money to help support our studio and start a label to promote the amazing young musicians we work with. 

Warren Records is now well established with a number of releases under our belt, all of which we are very proud to be a part of. In Hull Warren Records has become a major part of the local music infrastructure and is now seen as a hub for music in and around the city. We act as a direct link to the all amazing and ever growing talent in our area and urge anybody to make contact with us and the artists we work with.
