Written by frontman, ​Matt Williams,​ it’s a song about the strongest kind of ​love,​ the kind that has the power to ​make you forget everything that came before. Featuring lilting harmonies amongst bouts of wailing slide guitar (courtesy of Nashville veteran ​Colin Linden)​ , the song’s alt-country leanings are reminiscent of ​“Smile” era Jayhawks combined with the sincere songwriting of Glen Hansard.​

Touted as an act to follow on BBC Introducing in Newcastle, Warrilow plays what he calls ghost-folk: music inspired by trad folk, story-telling traditions and poetry. His songs are built around atmosphere, which he creates with melodic, fingerpicked playing on a classical guitar handmade by a relative, and metrical lyrics ringing with the sounds of Nick Drake, renewed with Crosby, Stills and Nash harmonies and Wild Beast driven rhythms.
