Junk Yard Jam is an up-tempo, feel-good groove that was created during the Ohio Veterans Drum from Home Program. Jemetria Mabrey composed the initial rhythm sequence using her Remo frame drum and phone which is featured on the first bar of the recording. We then took Jemetria's groove and created an entire jam that is designed to inspire rhythmic play! Here is a little bit more about Jemetria in her own words...

WHAT DRUMMING MEANS TO ME:
Every beat I drum is for my only child Tyairra's 	❤️ that stop beating 16 Jun 23. Each drum beat honors her legacy 
and continues her journey of Happiness, Healthiness & Harmony!
WHY I JOINED WARRIOR BEAT:
I am a Disabled US Navy Veteran and I joined Warrior Beat to pursue my life longs dream of learning how to drum. 
Amazingly, immediately after my first "Drumming Class" I found more than just a Drumming Class.
For me, Warrior Beat is my family. Together we drum, meditate, laugh, learn and encourage each other. As we share 
our journeys we enjoy drumming using my favorite method Fruit Salad and healing via our Creative Expression.
