Kat Wang, also known as Kat Offline, is a Chinese-American chef and DJ based in NYC. Alongside her collective, she has hosted and performed at various clubs in the city such as Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Elsewhere, and Jupiter Disco with regular shows at The Lot Radio. She is a co-founder of the NYC based DJ collective Misschief. Kat is deeply drawn to a mixture of melodic and percussive in her sets, running the gamut of jungle, house, acid, Detroit techno, and UK garage— seeking to bring her listeners to a transcendent, adrenaline-fueled place.

Misschief Collective is a DJ collective based in NYC founded in 2017. As a group of artists and musicians of marginalized genders, their mission is to bring diversity to lineups in a predominantly cis-white male dance music underground. They care deeply about expressing freedom through diasporic soundscapes and facilitating communal joy. They are a diverse group of selectors brought together by the love for music and one another.

"My warm-up mix is a zany trip through my mind for an hour and a peek into what a solo set from me at the festival might look like — 100% KL special low-frequency version. I’m happy to be showing more specific strains of what I do in B2Bs this year, and grateful for the opportunity to spin it out at the speed of sound in this mix. Influenced by the never-ending cycles of violence, corruption, and fascistic decline we’re forced to exist within on Earth, as well as the way music can be both a communicator of liberatory ideas and also a pacifying force to maintain the status quo of white supremacist capitalist patriarchy. The strategic adversary is fascism - free everywhere and destroy what destroys you. A better world is possible.
