Our SDS (@sitdownsessions) series at Lisbon’s iconic CINCO Lounge brings together an eclectic mix of artists and styles all DJing and sippin’ cocktails from the comforts of the couch. With this concept we create a more intimate and approachable atmosphere where the DJ, their friends (and future ones) can blend together in rhythmic harmony. The sessions are recorded live on Facebook and the audio will be presented later here in its uninterrupted format.

Revisions of pagan rituals

Your face, the half moon, waxes
under secondhand light
knock-kneed and full of promise.

I feed myself in this way

I cleared my schedule so I could miss 
you all day. So I could miss everyone 
I’ve ever known. I cleared my schedule

Now the hours diminish themselves— 
collapse into one thousand 
outstretched arms. Activate a place to 
be in shells and emerge… palm atop 
tidal pools. A bathtub fills with soil. 
The earth reminds us, love in any form 
is a salve for longing. We use our hands. 
We work with the whole body. pause, 
and tend, long days fertile with ache. 
Be slow don’t watch the clock— Capricorn 
Daddy watches it for you. Backbone, knees, 
a desire to be seen and hidden too. 
We make our lives proof we can be 
absorbed in ourselves and not egoic.

Strawberry seeds stuck between our teeth. 
Both eyes open.
We drown our self doubt where water 
meets earth. Elemental kisses for after. 
The moon says, take what you need leave t
he rest, take what you need then offer.

This full moon in Piscis ♓️ comes to awake our emotions, move the waters inside of us 🐟 to listen to our own needs. A special time to be with ourselves, feel the calmness, security and warmness that sometimes we are looking for outside.
This is a good moment to be creative, time for silence and meditation, to calm the mind, spending time in nature, dancing, reading, painting, etc. 
☯️ We can feel melancholic during these days, maybe a bit overwhelmed, that is ok! It’s all part the change of season as well, getting ready for autumn 🍂 the key is to look inside 😌 We can find a lot of love and compassion inside of us, breath and go into this transition. Being vulnerable is good to open more our hearts. Prepare this space, light a candle, trust your intuition and go with the flow.

What this looks like is providing supplies to the beings on the front line - the ones who are literally placing their bodies in front of machines and holding a sacred space in the midst of it all.
