At the end of 2020, I played this set on The Detour Drive, The Funk Hunter's weekly stream on Twitch. I dug into my crates for some of my favorite jams that likely wouldn’t make it into any other mixes. From funk to feel-good house to a bunch of classics, this mix has a bit of everyone to enjoy. "10 years of Bliss Coast and the journey goes on. Each year has been a monumental effort and my long-term goal to achieve 10 volumes comes to completion with the release of Muse & Marvel. Over the years many fans have told me how much they still love volume 1, Grass & Gospel. So to round out the series I decided to revisit the year one theme and produce another set of bluegrass and gospel songs refreshed for the festival dancefloor and maximum smiles. The tribute set I put together for my Thursday afternoon set at The Stump N Stone Stage. First half is a Pumpkin Tribute and the second half is a Jon H Tribute. This was a very challenging project and I am so excited to say that this is the one take, live recording of the set live at Tall Tree. Jon and Nick are two of my biggest influences in DJ'ing, not only for what they do behind turntables/controllers, but the way the present themselves in a daily manner. We miss and love you both so much. And extra props to Qdup, Everyman and Tuck In Tyler for helping facilitate lots of the music used in this mix and for providing vocal recordings that are used in the mix. Put your hearts up for Nick and Jon, you will always live on through your music!

I've been compiling tracks of artists who have remixed some of the classics, for quite some time now, with the intent to make a unique mix. It has been pretty challenging, but these tracks bring me right back to the beginning of learning the mass amount of power music holds within us. Movement. Emotion. Compassion.. Music never ceases to allow us to let go and give in to the waves of sound. So, I felt the need to put this out there, once and for all. I dedicate this to the old at soul and to those who do not fear the feeling of surrender.

WAVE DALTON DIRTY CHILL MIX

Coming in from the beaches of Tofino B.C Canada. 
Born on Browns Mountain in Port Renfrew at Tall Tree Music Festival. 
Wave Dalton has been bringing the good vibes to dance floors around Vancouver Island and beyond for many years.

He's had the opportunity to share stages and support acts such as SKIITOUR, Lazy Syrup Orchstra, Moontricks, Mat the Alien, Mt Doyle, Dunks, Father Funk, WBBL, RUMPUS, Leland River,  and many other of the westcoasts finest.

Recently performing his second vinyl 45 set at Shambhala's legendary Fractal Forest stage for the Sunday afternoon Funk Jam, hosted by the Smalltown DJ's. 

His sets are genre bending and he's notorious for blending in his own unique style.

Always keeping the ear guessing and the dance floor moving hes been gaining notoriety playing gigs all over Vancouver island and beyond.
