Monks In The Wood are based in Peckham, South London. Since forming, they have honed their unique style, receiving acclaim from the likes of BBC Introducing London, Clash and When The Horn Blows.

With their melodic synths and vocal harmonies, the band have been compared to such a variety of different styles from Duran Duran, Deerhunter to ELO, showing the band truly have their own vibe which seems to resonate with listeners of different ages and music tastes.

Cigarettes After Sex is a dream pop band led by songwriter Greg Gonzalez & is currently based out of LA.

My musical influences are varied but the main inspiration behind the music that I make comes from a love of different styles of electronica including techno, indie,  breakbeat, chilled out hip hop beats, soul and funk as well as orchestral soundtracks. It's the epic, euphoric and atmospheric that draw me in as well as cool grooves and basslines, bleeps and noises! I also love melodic hooks and rich layers.
I've experimented with using the violin and acoustic percussion alongside the electronic sounds on some track. All of the tracks are originals that I have composed, programmed, arranged and mixed.
