This is what I'd call a metal-style cover of Opening Stage (X), a piece of soundtrack from Mega Man X: Corrupted. 

Electric guitars are played and recorded by me - I have composed and produced mostly electronic music over the years, but I have also played a bit of guitar on the side. However, I am still far from a serious guitar player, so this was a very challenging project (but also fun at the same time).

When I made my first metal-style cover of Opening Stage (X) from Mega Man X: Corrupted soundtrack, it was supposed to be kind of a one-time thing, an experiment. However, after a very positive reception which I'm very grateful of, and a couple of suggestions to cover another song from the same soundtrack, I knew that I had to do it again. So I present to you: metal cover of Skyway / Hurricane Hoatzin!

I learned a lot from my first attempt and I personally feel I mixed this one a little better, even though it doesn't have as powerful bass as the last one... I still have lot to learn about playing, recording & mixing electric guitar but projects like this give me great motivation to keep practicing.
