Released October 19th 1993, Black Moon's classic debut LP 'Enta Da Stage' celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year. Produced entirely by Da Beatminerz, the album's production style epitomises early 90s East Coast boom bap sonics with laid back, filtered jazz-funk samples meeting crunchy drums, cut choruses and gritty wordplay. In celebration of the anniversary we've teamed up once again with Wax Poetics magazine to present this exclusive mixtape pairing album tracks and remixes with their sample sources, interview snippets and more. Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde 20th Anniversary Mixtape mixed by Chris Read

London’s very own Spin Doctor has been a busy boy while in Lockdown. He has created this epic mix dedicated to the powerhouse that is Q-Tip. Using 50 tracks to mark The Abstract’s 50th Birthday on Friday 10th April 2020.
 
The mix combinies a bunch of Tip’s productions, verses, samples, interviews and more. From A Tribe Called Quest to Solange, Nas to Quincey Jones, the mix explores all aspects of this man’s genius.
 
There are very few artists that can claim such impact on an entire genre, but A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip can do just that and more. As a member of what is widely agreed to be the greatest Hip-Hop group of all time, as a solo artist and as a producer for the great and the good, Q-Tip’s impact is immeasurable.
