This winning 80’s Ladies mix is curated by Gabby Bulgarelli, a multimedia creative in Brooklyn NY who was recently the Senior Producer of Louder Than A Riot from NPR Music, a podcast series about how misogynoir has resigned Black femmes to the same oppression hip hop was created to escape. When she isn’t creating immersive audio experiences about hip hop, you can find her mixing together old classics with new bops as DJ Free Samples, throwing on the pottery wheel or fixing up old cameras, all while sipping on teas from all over the world.
