Ryan "DJ Ryan" Linwood has always been popular on the Cayman party scene but with a slightly different role.  Before embarking upon his DJ career in 2006/2007, DJ Ryan was known as "Mad Dancer" and spent most of his time on the dancefloor.  Ryan always had a passion for music so after dancing it was only natural he would become interested in playing the songs he once danced to.  Ryan would be practicing the craft of DJing and gained an incredible knowledge of music in Prospect, George Town in the Cayman Islands with William "B Stylz" Whitelocke and Gregory "DJ Bubblez" Gordon.

Seeing how quickly Ryan was advancing and knowing that the sound needed some fresh "perspective", Pierre "Masta P" Foster invited DJ Ryan to join Sound Revolution in 2009 and as a member he has been creating havoc in parties ever since.  After a few years, DJ Ryan parted ways from the sound with no ill will to venture and concentrate on building his own brand.  DJ Ryan is one of the most active and well known DJs in the Cayman Islands and continues to increase his Fanbase and love for the culture and music.

Ryan's passion for music knew no bounds, and he honed his skills relentlessly, perfecting his craft as a turntablist and crowd-pleaser.  His magnetic presence and ability to read the crowd effortlessly have earned him a loyal fan base, taking him beyond the Cayman Islands to grace international events like Toronto (Caribana, Lavish, Shorts & Shades, F Winter), United States (Miami Carnival, Tampa Carnival, Flags Cooler Fete), Germany (Big People Party, Berlin J'ouvert, Dancehall meets Soca) London England (Dutty Fete , Notting Hill Carnival) and more with his heart-pounding DJ performances.
