It's hard to believe that it will be exactly two years ago since we launched our beloved label. It really has flown by in the blink of an eye. And so, to mark the occasion of 24 successful months in business, we bring you release number 24. You could call it OCD behaviour but we like to think of it as symmetry ;-)

Step forward Mr Jaap Ligthart, a Dutchman who has been on our radar for some time now with a number of fantastic edits and reworkings but is now making the natural transition into original productions. Together with Ms. Alice Rose, a vocalist who's pass credits include guesting on tracks for the likes of Gabriel Ananda and Eagles & Butterflies, they've created something rather special. 

‘I Know Change’ is a sensuous piece of work. Deep House in the very real sense of the phrase. 
And that is something that our remixers on this project have truly understood. Both Him Self Her and Show-B have delivered exquisite interpretations that give the whole package an overriding sense of class and quality. 

Him Self Her keep things deep and moody with a restrained, atmospheric, sophisticated piece of work, whilst Show-B heads into slightly tougher territory encapsulated by some distinctive rollercoaster percussion effects that have already seen Ame, Dixon, Sasha, Mano Le Tough & Adratique showing their support. And if all that wasn’t enough, they both deliver vocal free dubs too! 

So then, just to recap, it’s hotter than Megan Fox in Agent Provocateur and cooler than a Polar Bear’s toenails. What’s not to like?

The brainchild of Leicester's favourite daughter, Constant Circles kicks off in style with the shadowy grooves of 'Silence'. Mellow, yet eerily sinister, the track showcases Just Her's skill at building strong emotions through minimal design. And when that little garage-like shuffle drops in - well we may have even swooned a little.

Danish artist Be Svendsen combines once more with the Crosstown Rebels crew, following on from his emphatic NU 'Man O To' remix, which landed in late February. The latest collaboration comes in the form of the new 'Twilight in Tankwa' EP, it comes with two original cuts as well as a remix from Berlin native Nico Stojan. Lasse Bruhn Svendsen ,as he's known to his friends and family, has been a proponent of refreshing electronic music since his emergence in 2014 and the work he started continues with yet another special record. The title track is a slow-winding groover that's coated with intricate melodic touches, while an engrossing atmosphere rotates around a punchy drum ensemble. SCARECROW in 3D - Listen only with HEADPHONES, as this is a binaural mix - it won't sound as intended on normal speakers. 
During covid I teamed up with Polygon (immersive 3D sound stage at WonderFruit Festival Thailand) and started working on the idea of translating their vision of the live 3D sound we’ve done previously, into an binaural headphone mix for the individual listener. 

This is our first attempt with immersive sound for headphones and I feel that there is a lot more potential to explore. We chose an old track for this first one, but have another track in the pipeline specifically made for this, if there is an interest for it.
