Label owner dBridge strikes a careful balance between releasing music that serves a purpose for dancers and thinkers alike. The roster of artists involved in the label is allowed express themselves as they see fit with only one stipulation; pushing the genre forward.
The Exit Records club nights are typically riotous affairs- they stand as a mix of the most cutting-edge music crossed with a firm eye on the dancefloor, from stages at festivals to residencies at clubs across the world, the events are known to sell out.
As the label enters its 15th year of existence a confidence in sound and direction has come to the fore and this is what cements Exit Records as a go-to label for those inside and out of the genre.

London born composer/performer and painter Izzy Flynn combines the two worlds of music and art. Lyrical, memorable melodies and rich harmonies meet vibrant, colourful paintings. 

Izzy has drawn on the striking similarities between composing music and creating art e.g. likening the early stages of both processes -utilising a particular selection of chords versus a specific colour palette.

The East London based Artist began her career as a session keyboardist/vocalist performing with RnB singer JGrrey at Glastonbury, Abstract Orchestra -an allstar Hip-hop Big Band (with whom she supported Mos Def, Akala, Soweto Kinch, performed on a line up alongside De La Soul, filmed live for the MOBO awards, recorded a Dilla album [ATA Records], to touring with Nashville Songwriters including Heidi Feek. She has recently performed sellout shows alongside contemporary pianists Simeon Walker, Matthew Bourne+Taz Modi.

Izzy’s love of music and art has always been significant, beginning composing at the age of 7, she later studied an Art Foundation, gained a 1st Class BA Hons Jazz Degree from Leeds Conservatoire, later to be offered a part scholarship to study a MM in Composition for Film, TV+Video Games at Berklee.

Vol 1 of Izzy’s upcoming project has gained recognition from eminent musicians;
