Very nice sets indeed

While we were recovering at a pool in Thailand from a heavy night dj'ing, we got a message from Norman, asking us to remix his track Filtré. And he needed it yesterday. So we fired up our laptop and started throwing beats together. Within a few hours we had a nice sketch we would play that night to test if we were on the right track with this one. It turned out we were. The crowd seemed to love our minimal approach so much (much jumping around, sweating, lots of trainspotters around our cdj's, fluffy teddy bears thrown at us, etc.) that we decided only to do some minor tweaks and leave it as it was. Early support by Axwell, Dirty South, Otto Knows, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

EXPLOITED Records Podcast 19 - Adana Twins & Doctor Dru - It´s a L.O.V.E.C.A.S.T

Arma 17’s vinyl-junkie Dasha @redkina played her debut Bombay show at HEARTBEAT just a few months ago. Fast forward now to her first BHA Podcast, a primarily fast-paced techno affair (with some choice house throwbacks), a mix that should easily take the prime spot on your night-time playlists.

T++'s remix of Marcel Dettmann's 'A Req' helps set intentions early on; Heiko Laux features among a smattering of rhythmic '90s golden age techno, and Wbeeza's 'Psychsomatic' does some heavy lifting. Moodyman brings sophistication as usual setting up a paradigm shift in an otherwise relentlessly groovy hour, soon giving way to acid warbles, deep beats and an assuredly cool Roman Flugel for the finish (his name has never sounded more like dessert than today). This one's hot and hectic, tasty as hell.  Enjoy.

When different musical projects bring keep the promise on the stage, in every sense it is a win. At the same time when there is too much ambition it can fall on it's face. Here the senses are filled with something both for the eyes and the ears in a progressive ease.
Karocel is the three ring event of Marbert Rocel, Mathias Kaden and Michael Nagler. Simply put, all-out jamming brought the three together in 2010. The musicians treasured such a constellation for quite some time. They seemed to always play at the same time in the same place yet apart.. Being fans of each other is over time can turn out to be frustrating. That had to change and so it did.

Wenn verschiedene musikalische Projekte in einer Verheißung die Bühne betreten, ist das in aller Regel ein Zugewinn. Kann aber auch bei zu viel Ambitionsgemenge nach hinten losgehen. Hier geht es ohren- und augenfällig in die vorwärtsgewandte Richtung.
Karocel, das sind die Musikkapelle Marbert Rocel, Mathias Kaden und Michael Nagler. Einfach drauflos jammend fanden sie 2010 zusammen. Die Musikanten schätzten sich schon sehr lange. Sie spielten aber immer zur selben Zeit am selben Ort. Gegenseitiges Fan-Sein ohne Miteinander ist auf Dauer sehr unbefriedigend. Das musste sich ändern. Und wurde auch prompt geändert.
