Constellations is an annual new music and arts festival taking place against the backdrop of one of the UK’s most creative cities. In our first year we played host to Broken Social Scene, Four Tet, Les Savy Fav, Liars, Los Campesinos!, Sleigh Bells, Gold Panda, Vaccines, Breton, Sky Larkin, Esben & The Witch and I Like Trains. Constellations returns to Leeds University on November 12th 2011, Wild Beasts, Yuck and Antlers are already confirmed to play, keep your eyes and ears peeled and to the ground respectively for more awesome additions over the coming months!

Soft Metals is an electronic music duo from Portland, Oregon. Its members Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall began writing and recording songs together in the spring of 2009. Inspired by a diverse array of synthesizer music, their sound lies somewhere between dance music, austere synthetic pop, and experimental electronic composition. 
Soft Metals is signed to Captured Tracks and released their first record, an 5 song EP titled “The Cold World Melts” in July 2010. Their debut self-titled album came out in July of 2011. FACT magazine called Soft Metals “one of the most accomplished and ambitious of the myriad new synth-pop acts coming out of the States.” In 2013, they released their 2nd album, "Lenses". They have toured extensively throughout North America and Europe. Currently the duo is working on their 3rd album.
