Team DAMP is the ambitious story of two music fanatics from the picturesque town of Bruges. They each have experience in different corners of Bass music. Both were active in genres ranging from Dubstep to Drum and Bass, Hip hop and Reggae, Jungle and Tropical bass. Team DAMP is an energetic collective with a skilled deejay and an uplifting emcee. With Caribbean vibes as starting point, the two explore the full range of Dancehall, Afrobeats, Kuduro Rhythms, Tropical Bass, Reggae ...  The duo is also curator of the successful Nah Mean party concept and the inevitable Bomboclat festival, which is probably the most refreshing Dancehall and Afrobeats festival in Belgium. 
Even though Team DAMP doesn't stick to one musical style, they do hold on to one vibe: Positive energy. Expect an uplifting, tropical and bass heavy experience. Ladies get their best moves out while men pop lighters and wave flags for Team DAMP.

It’s all about coming full circle. 

And while futureproofing has always been at the forefront of his mind, it’s worth mentioning that Kim Mathijs has been leaving indelible imprints around the Belgian electronic music spectrum for quite a while. From curating niche compilations over radio shows to breathing fresh air into festival line-ups (yes, that sublime Booth stage at Pukkelpop holds his signature). Kim is also sculpting and mentoring emerging DJ talent through DKO and the Tomorrowland Academy. 

As far as stacking up memorable moments behind the decks. Kim has been there, and he’s done it, diligently and complete with all the bells and whistles. Now it’s time to strip it all back, reconnect with his roots and elevate his long-time passion for the fundamentals. 

Think of the genres that are heavy on synths, funk, and laced with cosmic vibes. The core elements that defined the proto-house movement: italo, disco, garage, house and everything in between. No gimmicks, no blinders, only gems. 

But there’s more in Kim’s saddlebag. He won’t confine himself to just sought-after classics alone; He prefers blending timeless essentials and contemporary work. If you fancy some bigger kick drums, breaks and Jersey Club, with a detour to stripped-down techno or trance-influenced club tracks, park yourself in front of the man. He’ll be happy to deliver with an impact.

MILINGUAP which stands for 'Minha Lingua' meaning 'my language' in Portuguese represents the connection Joye feels with music. It's were a mix of her cultural heritage comes to life. Music is the outcome. 

Old Skool R&B embodies her childhood & very first experience with the power of music. The way it triggers our deepest emotions, how it can change your state of mind in a matter of seconds & how it brings us all together is why she became a DJ in the first place. 

Afrobeats provides a natural connection with her roots. Being a mix of African, Caribbean & European blood she still has a lot of culture to explore and tends to do so among other things, trough music.
