PHENOMENA is a record label based in both Naarm/Melbourne and London. Our debut release celebrates rising stars in the local Naarm scene such as SLAMROSS 1000 and RBI as well as launching first releases for up and coming artists Izzy Locke, Zara and GEX. 

This compilation delivers ten unconventional club tracks by Australian and international artists, curated and refined to illustrate our unique perspective of contemporary dance music. We search for those who share an appetite for original and uncharted sounds, and those who foster the greater music community. 

The compilation is a fundraiser for charity, with all profit from bandcamp going to Black Rainbow.

We are SO excited to premiere @djrbii's track "Check It" taken from @phenomenarecords debut compilation PHENOMENAL Vol. 1, out on all platforms tomorrow, October 1st. 

DJ, musician, producer and @fluxxclub co-founder RBI has blown us away with this high energy number which booms with dnb programming, and a textured angry synth guiding the way forward to rebellion. RBI says on the release:

"I wrote this track craving that feeling of being on the dance floor pressed up against bodies, sharing a collective experience, dancing into the night, releasing the angst of being so isolated for so long".

Spanning from garij, to breaks, dubstep, garij, grime, speed garij, garij, funky, and even garij. Here they take a more progressive, but still tasteful approach to the collective’s sound.
