Alan Fitzpatrick and his UK based imprint ‘We Are The Brave’ enter their 2nd winter with a string of ravetastic releases under their belt. Just over two years since its inception, the label continues to capture fans’ attention with their showcases, pop-up raves and House Party Tours across the UK. For Respekt 166, we welcome Stiv Hey for his first full EP on the label. The release kicks off with 'Can't Stop'; a stone-cold dancefloor destroyer with it's seismic kickdrum, swirling vocal loops and percussive synth hook. Backing it up is 'Control', a slightly deeper take on Stiv's sound, powered by a huge offbeat bass and topped with cool, proggy chords.
As if these two monsters weren't enough, we have a double bill of debut remixers too. Brennen Grey cranks up the drones on his remix of 'Can't Stop', and Juliet Fox takes us on a trip deep into acid territory with her monster rework of 'Control'.

Markantonio’s label AnalyticTrail drops a hard-hitting three track techno EP from young Italian producer Hanubis whose style blends thundering percussion with timeless synth sounds.

Prior to this EP, Hanubis had released tracks on labels including Spartaque’s IAMT, Sam Paganini’s JAM and Coyu’s Suara, leading to support from DJ’s such as Charlotte De Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Cari Lekebusch, Wehbba, Spektre and Skober.

Hanubis is also a resident DJ at LebenSound UM in the Italian city of Foggia where he regularly plays alongside DJ royalty from around the globe.

“Dish” opens the release with an industrial kick drum fused with stabbing pads and explosive vocal phrases. Track two “Armageddon” blends the twisted euphoria of hypnotic synths with heavy percussion, before the dark and punishing “The Modeline” closes out this peak time techno EP.
