On August 22nd, 2014, Motor Entertainment will release a couple of remixes of Parasite Single‘s track “The Hunt”. Northern German music producers the Micronaut and Mollono.Bass (whose remix will be premiered by trndmusik) contribute one remix each. “We are always up for club music and wanted to make danceable music”, say the band members about the remixes. (...) They got in contact with Mollono.Bass and the Micronaut as part of the 3000 Grad family.

Am 22. August 2014 erscheint ein Remixpaket zur Nummer “The Hunt”, die von der Band Parasite Single produziert wurde. Dabei steuern die norddeutschen Produzenten the Micronaut und Mollono.Bass - dessen Remix bei trndmusik Premiere feiert – jeweils eine eigene Version zum Werk von Christian Seim und Jasmins Quach bei. “Wir hatten immer Lust auf Clubmusik und Interesse, tanzbare Musik zu machen”, so die Band über die Idee für die Remixe. Parasite Single - The Hunt (Mollono.Bass Remix)

Ahead of their album release, Icarus present their new single ‘Every Part Of You’. 

With their last few releases having showcased the harder, more club focused capabilities of the duo's production, ‘Every Part Of You’ celebrates the acclaimed “Icarus sound” that fans know and love. The elegant vocals of rising talent Julia Church are punctuated sparingly throughout, serving to compliment the intricate instrumentation rather than take the lead. Combining layers of pulsing synths, delicate atmospheres and dancing melodies that weave back and forth, ‘Every Part Of You’ is as uplifting as it is melancholic.

The track blends chopped samples, layered synths, background field recordings, and a tight rhythmic pulse to create a rich, groove-driven sound. Named after the calm but powerful creatures in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the track captures a sense of steady movement and hidden force — organic, textured, and always in motion.

Continuing to delve into ancient Greek mythology, this time Borey decides to voice the story of Hyperborea, a mysterious Northern country, the ancestral home of mankind, where groves and forests were people's dwelling, where they did not know what is disease and strife.

Even death came to the Hyperboreans as a release from the satiety of life, and, having experienced all the pleasures, they threw themselves into the sea, but at will could be reborn after death.
Having replaced the synth-wave aesthetic with an acoustic sound saturated with live instruments and various percussion and glitches, Borey steps on the ground of ethno-fusion and significantly expands the boundaries of his own creativity.

Hyperborea is a musical eclecticism in which you can hear both dub and art rock, atmospheric soundscapes and analog synthesis. Special attention should also be paid to the string section, which adds even more dreaminess and cinematography to the composition.
