The Loop was born in Amposta, Catalonia, circa the later half of 2022.

Coming out of the Covid19-centric era, a group of friends with common interests in music was rejoined. Drawing inspiration from both the British alternative rock scene and the early 2000's Nü Metal boom, the group was drawn to melt it into a cleaner but still heartfelt genre, keeping the powerful essence of Nü Metal while making it more accessible to newer audiences.

While some members of the band had different backgrounds in music or had been in prior failed projects, others were new to the scene, and some were replaced along the way as the group started to define their common path and objectives.
