Moment Cinetique Label owner Dave Platts give us the pleasure of being our guest for this new WEB WILD MIX episode. 
Dave represents the outfit on the DJ front, playing a mix of deep, leftfield, disco and straight up house under the label's moniker as a guest across the UK as well as regular appearances on Rinse France and a variety of online channels.

Moment Cinetique is a deep-jazzy-disco-house label hailing from Sheffield that has been releasing music from established producers and also breaking new talent since 2018. Artists that have appeared on the Yorkshire imprint include scene favourites such as Cody Currie, Harry Wolfman and Carlo plus fresh names like Simon Hinter, Tiptoes and Andy Ash. Although they only release a handful of tracks a year they've seen their EPs feature in the charts and sets of DJs including Eats Everything, Kerri Chandler, Detroit Swindle, Dave Lee, Jimpster, Melvo Baptiste and many more.

With an illustrious career spanning over fifteen years, Mill has left his mark on esteemed labels such as Large Music, Dirt Crew, and True Romance. A true stalwart of the underground scene, he has held the position of label manager at Kerri Chandler's Madhouse Records—where he showcased his unique sound—and has been closely associated with the iconic artist himself.

An unmistakable talent, Mill's sound was once aptly characterized by RA as "fusing elements of House, Techno, and Progressive, tied together with a hint of Balearic essence." This description also rings true for his immersive DJ sets, informed by a vast music collection and countless performances, which consistently captivate dance floors. These musical journeys have taken Steve to high-profile events and music conferences worldwide.

Mill's upcoming releases are set to grace labels like Dirt Crew and True Romance, adding to his already impressive discography. With past achievements like Boiler Room appearances and a compelling full-length album, Mill's music continues to resonate with both audiences and fellow artists. Esteemed DJs such as Tensnake, Purple Disco Machine, and HoneyLuv have reached for his tracks, reinforcing his global demand.

Recently, Steve has transitioned into a new role as an Artist Services Manager at Beatport. In this capacity, he helps artists promote their work on the platform, leveraging his wealth of experience and passion for music. Steve's dedication to the craft and support for fellow artists ensure that his influence will continue to reverberate throughout the global dance music scene.
