Water and Dust is a mixture of elegy and experiment, prayer and perplexity-- from beautiful, hymnal folk musics by Anohni, Six Organs, and Prefab to experimental incantations from Graham Lambkin and Bianca Scout. I also included a new HTDW song where I sing a prayer from Thomas Merton over and over – "The only true joy on earth is to escape from the prison of our own false self" – as well as a pretty moving mashup of M Sage x Claire Rousay x Channelers x Anohni. - How To Dress Well

on her new album she continues to explore the sonic possibilities of her instrument which she uses as sound source - sounds which are then processed, adding reverb, feedback and sub-bass frequencies and thus crafting sonic sculptures, rich of atmospheres and frictions.
