'Zodiac Sounds' est de retour sur Dia Radio avec ce mois-ci le passage en Bélier, 'Aries' en Anglais. En astrologie, c'est le tout premier signe du zodiaque, associé au renouveau et à l'élément feu, il introduit le printemps et apporte une énergie impulsive, fougueuse et vive. Les personnes nées sous le signe du Bélier sont des êtres entiers. Quand elles ont une idée en tête, elles n'en démordent pas facilement. Chef de file des autres signes astrologiques, le Bélier signifie le commencement, le départ, l'ouverture des choses. C'est un signe d'action plus que de réflexion ; d'extérieur plutôt que d'intérieur ; d'efficacité plutôt que de précision.

Pour cette édition j'ai le plaisir d'inviter @freyacaldwell qui nous a concocté un mix depuis son homebase Bristol. DJ de talent et résidente de @1020_radio , elle voyage dans ses mix à travers des paysages oniriques sombres et astraux, entre le royaume de la deep techno psychédélique et la transe spiralisante.

Nina Pixel represents a bridge between Bratislava – Berlin electronic scene. Being a part of the unforgettable non-longer existing platform Hertz, she crystallized into her second identity Black Acid which sounds familiar to all who like the fusion of part gloomy, part introspective and definitely uncompromised dark techno.

Her music is touchingly personal. Through looping, sampling and experimenting with sound perception, she brings a lyrical soundscape to the dirt of our industrial times. Today, she delivers a set as disturbing as the days we live in. Ritual rhythms combined with poetry presented by her captivating voice takes us into the depth of our existence by creating a meditative and sensual audio diary of everyday life.

Catarsi was born from silence. A creative void that generates an array of frequencies ready to be discovered by the listener. Spontaneous live creations emerged, flowing effortlessly, both on the dance floor and in a quiet listening environment.

Formant Value creative techniques are based on spontaneity, mixing analog drums machines with airy soundscapes to express the feelings of the instant.

Label’s head Shaded Explorer adds his touch to the release, reinterpreting Catarsi II, with a psychedelic Remix and a more organic and introspective Re-dream version.

Catarsi will be mostly enjoyed with a quiet mind, doing nothing except listening or dancing.
