RUIDOZ, the mad sample mangler is back with new sounds and enhanced features !
RUIDOZ V.2 is a beat generator based on the randomization of samples events. This sound design instrument can create rhythmical sequences and a wide variety of sound textures. 
It’s also a collection of 340 micro samples that aim to be part of rhythmic kits. 

RUIDOZ is organized with a step sequencer that triggers one sound on every gate events. Nothing new here, apart that when the random mode is enable, this process creates an interesting flux of sample changes. 
An ADSR enveloppe, a filter, an auto pan, a compressor and a reverb are here to sculpt the basic shapes.  
These mutant sequences can also be manipulated in realtime with the 2 included Auto FX.  Every effect processors have 2 parameters which can be modulated and these modulations can be recorded in live. 

Included in the ensemble, a collection of 340 sound samples. Compared to the previous version, it’s an addition of 212 new pieces of electric charges, of liquid flows, of wood and metallic impacts…
All is ready for producing original glitchy beats, noisy percussions rhythms and either soundscapes, HUD sounds, semi harmonic phrases and mechanical riffs. 

RUIDOZ comes with a consequent bulk of presets. 
13 Banks and 354 snapshots in total, to get detailed examples of how it sounds and of instant materials for your productions. 
This percussive virtual machine could answer to your needs if you want to add originals and randoms colors to your music.  

For exemple, RUIDOZ can take place on the background of your main beat (Kick+Snare) or is well suited for building a rhythmical base that will transform the atmosphere of your whole track, especially if you are looking for unstable grooves, wonky beats, multi percussion lines with the charm of an organic resonance. 

All the samples come from a huge collection of micro sampling I did over past recorded improvisation and field recordings.  
Enjoy the intuitive and compact new graphic interface which is following the original design but in a flatter way.

VOZ° comes with a collection of 1520 basic waveforms including elements of speaking, screaming, whispering, breathing, yelling, laughing, growling, throating... All kind of vowels, phonetics, accents and onomatopoeias.. even whole words and piece of phrases.

VOZ° is a new sampling concept based on vocal formants.
This ensemble for Reaktor 6 resynthesizes a real singer voice from a list of vocal articulation samples that can be sketched into multi layer singing parts and played chromatically trough a powerfull 4 voice sampler and a suit of 10 effects.

INVERSAL LOOPS was played for the first time of the actiongroup for NEW MUSIC, Trostberg, directed by Bernhard Zörner. The young performers played on a special run-out-metallophone or surround-metallicphone with various wood and aluminium sticks and rubbing sticks (and a lot of triangles). The official premiere was at the KLANGAKTIONEN NEW MUSIC-Festival Munich in the academy of the fine arts, June 1998.

- Splice and dice over samples ! Slide the cursor over the pad and travel/scan inside waveform’s micro formants or even jump over different slices… 
CATALIZ offers a refreshed approach to produce playable harmonics and beats or creative sound design, giving birth to unusual textures and never heard sounds patterns. 

- Kind of autonomous audio object or generative music tool, CATALIZ is a granular travelizer, a polyphonic tone sampler, a synchronized beat looper and a slicer. Recycle and play all kind of samples.

- Enhance the granular stream with a Modal Filter and a Resochord for a more physical acoustic rendering of the sound. Less crunchy, totally spectral.

- The DSP quality in granular synthesis is provided by the embedded modules of Reaktor 6. These are recontextualized and simplified in a unique concept dedicated to live performance. 

- Record/overdub the envelope and the note produced by the XY pad in real time. Manage the inertia of the playback movement over the waveform. Draw a 2-axes modulation that controls the position, the density of the length of your audio sources… Even the click on the pad is sending a note… All the features that provide an instant control !

- Skip from 5 different samples on each incoming gate event with the Random and Forward mode in order to push morphing effects between sounds on your preset parameters.

- A perfect device for sound designers, composers and music producers that comes with 1,84 Giga of sounds form of all kind ( pads, beats, slices, noises, voices, field recordings.. ) distributed in 9 banks.

Much more than an edition tool, CATALIZ° is an authentic instrument for granular synthesis real time performances.  One cursor action on the pad can produce drastic and expressive modulation and harmonic changes. Thanks to the second GUI view of the instrument, which comes with a wider XY pad, the cursor can also be controlled by internal or external touchscreens*
Note : Reaktor is not multitouch ready, but if you own a laptop or hybrid PC equipped with a touchscreen or an iPad/with tiers application that can be used as a second display, you can easily take advantage of the XY pad and other parameters. Monotouch is enough with this device.
