The forthcoming new single 'Mesmerise' by Temples, taken from the band's eagerly anticipated debut album 'Sun Structures'.  The record is released by Heavenly Recordings on 10th February 2014 and 11th February in the US by Fat Possum.

The 12-track album was self-produced by the band’s James Bagshaw and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer. The album will be available on CD, download and double vinyl.

The debut single from Temples is released by Heavenly Recordings on Monday 12th November 2012.

Both tracks were recorded in early September and produced by Temples in Pyramid Studios, their home studio in Kettering.

Temples have been confirmed as main support on the forthcoming Mystery Jets tour alongside London shows with Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs and Tribes. They will also be playing the London Calling festival in Amsterdam.

Band Bio

Western Bears are an alternative/rock band based in the suburbs of Bromley, Kent, UK. They fully formed in October 2011 when bassist Kieran O’Brien joined, but previously for a year, lead singer and guitarist Max Broggio, lead guitarist Alex Cripps and drummer Joe Coell had been rehearsing regularly through original songs and various covers.

In 2012, the bands gigging had begun, playing venues from Scream Lounge in Croydon to the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town. In July, the band recorded their first tracks at Urban Chain Studios in Penge which they say was an “Eye-opening experience and it was definitely a memorable moment for Western Bears”

Western Bears have played shows with big names such as The View, Babyshambles and Bloc Party which were all highlights for the band and it has allowed them to strengthen their live shows.
