White moon

Tonight, a star fell and destroyed a town into tiny pieces.
People slipped down history and headed for the abyss.
Politicians talk about territory, and investors talk 
about profit.
The soldiers talk about their bad luck, and the citizens could say nothing more.

A white moon is visible in the southeast.
It's not often visible in the daytime, but it's there.

The basement is not a very comfortable place.
It's dark, damp and cold, but at least it's safe.
People are waiting for their doom while sipping on cold soup.
There is someone thinking about the down jacket they left at home.

A song to celebrate someone's birthday.
It's resounding with a roar.
Terrible feedback noises.

Everyone has their own goals and probably their own opinions.
But I can't understand those at all, and I'm only watching the TV news.
With the latest technology, even wars can be broadcast live.
We can enjoy it from the comfort of our own homes.

I'm not quite sure how to classify it. but I like to think of it as a romanic and wistful  ballad. let me know what you think.
