This is one of (3) tracks I composed for film maker Matt Patron for his documentary, "Collection Sgt. Dan". The documentary is a moving tribute to his brother, Sgt. Daniel Patron who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2011. The film won the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation’s Major Norman Hatch Award for best feature documentary. This track features me on acoustic guitar and dobro with a very special contribution from Brian Bigley on uilleann pipes.

     Wes's experience in audio production has been very diversified. Over the past decade he has enjoyed success as a guitarist, producer, audio engineer, music composer, and sound designer. Nationally he has composed and performed music for PBS Television, produced sound tracks for MTV, and produced music and sound recording for multiple national television and radio commercial spots.  Wes's credits also include music composition, audio production, recording and sound effect design for Hasbro Toys, American Greetings, Sesame Street, America Online, Yahoo.com, Chicago Tribune.com, and Step2 Toys. 
      As a performer his guitar skills have taken him all over the country as well as other parts of the world.
