After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong.

New DSS mix from the german artist Sascha Dive. Head of the legendary Deep Vibes Recordings label. 

Sascha Dive is one of the artists who has influenced us the most for many years, since 2007 approximately with his works on his label Deep Vibes and others like Raum...musik, Oslo, Tsuba, La Peña. These have been works that until today are still significantly relevant and recognized in any dancefloor.

We consider Sascha Dive a key piece of House in the last decades, and one of the "Mannheim" sound (deep, dub, and minimalist) of the end of the first decade of the 2000s.

1. How and where was the mix recorded?
The mix was recorded in my arpartment near to Frankfurt am Main, using only vinyls, two Technics turntables and an Allen & Heath mixer.

2. Can you tell us about the idea behind the mix?
I used records from this mix last year at Weetamix in Geneva, where I played an intensive set with a duration of over five hours! It was an exceptionally good night, the club was full and you could feel the enegry of this magic place. The club itself has an interesting history and I regard it as one of the best culbs to play at. 
That basically is the reason why the mix is so long as I wanted to try and incorporate the vibes from that night into the mix. It also serves to give the fans a somewhat longer example of what I play at my gigs.


3. What are you up to next? Projects, ideas…
My latest EP called "Digital Voodoo" has just been released on 8bit. Later this month I will be releasing a remix for Daldson on Envelope Mountain. Sometime further into the year I plan to release a new EP "Beautiful People" which will be on my home label, "Bondage Music".


4. Lastly, for you what is Dance, Shake, Swing!?
With this being a new platform, which enables Artists to prepresent their music either live in Barcelona or as a podcast, I am really pleased to be a part of it and I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to present this podcast.

Known as one third of the notorious WetYourself crew, throwing parties and DJing every Sunday night at Fabric in London, Jacob has been releasing music since 2005 on different labels and under various guises. 

As a DJ he is known for his fast mixing style of stripped down house and bouncy techno, which has made him a favorite in London and on the International underground dance scene, playing gigs all over Europe and The World on a regular basis.

The end of Oct 2010 sees his debut release on the newly-formed WYS! Recordings with a very limited run of vinyl as well as a digital release with bonus track "Into You" and an extra remix from Kanio &amp; Dexter Kane.

Do What You Want by Jacob Husley is an upbeat rolling feel good record that has become become a steady ingredient of the Sunday night WYS! mix.

Featuring vocals from Husley himself, the track is timeless and positive. The driving bass line perhaps shows what an effect his 8 years living in London has had on him and also maybe his not-so-secret past as a Junglist?

All-round Danish House legend, Mathias Mesteno, has created a late night deep builder that drives and drives..the result is detailed and tough! Keeping a big bassline, he has created his own feeling around the groove with plenty of atmospheric percussion.

Kanio &amp; Dexter Kane's version, again has a definite London feel to it, with a bouncy (and dare we say it, "Garagey"?!) twist on the original.

Barcelona man-of-the-moment Garnica from Galaktika Recs, has created a fantastic peak time groover that will have people losing themselves on the dancefloor.

Jacob rounds off this great package with sexy late-night groover featuring some cheeky vocals laid down by the man himself.

Marbert Rocel, the East German indie pop’n’jazz sensation and live band just brought their third album “Small Hours” to life, capturing a deep sense for beats, smoking, songs, indie pop trips including leftfield house- and jazzy affairs.
