What Came First's second V.A.'s album comes in the form of club-focused house and techno productions from Egg residents Kyle E and Luther Vine, long-running friends Anderson Noise, Transcode and 7XINS, as well as an array of fresh, talented producers such as Sandro Inturri, bu go, Odra and Sablin.

Each producer adds a different element to the EP in their own unique way, some going down the route of chunky, crowd-pleasing productions while others have gone towards a trippy, hypnotic sound for the more discernible dance floor.

After releasing a slew of EP's from a range of established artists, WCF Volume 2 is about highlighting the new names who have left an impression on the club over the last year.

Like the Egg London dance institution itself, the release covers a full spectrum of Techno from dubby minimal tones to big room beats along the journey.

These are my personal favorite tracks of the last months! Have been smashing these at all my gigs and they especially Surrender means a lot to me. Reminds me of being on the other side of the world on the Eclipse gathering which was an almost spiritual experience! Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did making and playing them :)

For the fifth edition of the Replug Podcast, we are really pleased to share with you an exclusive 3-hour live set from Replug favourite Dmitry Molosh, which was recorded at The Playground in Malta, October 2018.

At a time when progressive music continues to flourish so too does Dmitry Molosh. As one of the movements brightest stars, the Belarus based artist has continued to dominate the scenes landscape. A string of Beatport chart hits along with live play from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Replug's own Cid Inc., have made him one of the genre's trendiest artists. In addition to forging strong ties with Sudbeat Music and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, Dmitry has grown into one of Replug's primary artists, most recently remixing Navar's 'You Find' in spectacular fashion and returning to the label amidst much anticipation with his latest artist showcase entitled 'Detektor' which included the #2 charting 'Sacra' and 'Only U'.

Opening the EP is title track Upperground, an ethereal upbeat House tune which has been an essential component of the sets of Solomun in the past weeks. Atlas showcases their ability to step over to the dark side with a fist-pumping melodic Techno thumper.Closing off the record is Dont Bring Me Down, which was written by Dino Lenny and enhanced by ARTBATs brush into an emotional dancefloor hymn. The pairing of its string arrangements and the touching vocals of Dino Lenny will surely make for memories that last past the night out in which you hear it.

Italian duo Undercatt step up to remix label founders Booka Shades 'I Go, I Go' on Blaufield Music this February. Originally created as a home for their own material and productions, Booka Shades blossoming Blaufield imprint has welcomed a host of fresh artists and collaborators across the past few months, most recently in the form of Icelandic vocalist Kaktus Einarsson who joined the renowned duo to deliver the emphatic I Go, I Go. Hot on the heels of the original productions release, with support from a host of names including Pete Tong and Sasha, I Go, I Go now undergoes a fresh rework courtesy of ever-impressing Italian DJ and production pairing Undercatt, whose previous material to date on Diynamic and Last Night On Earth has gained high praise from many, featuring as an Essential New Tune selection in the process. Building on the originals hypnotic melodies and Einarssons emotive vocals, the duo weave together driving
synths, atmospheric sweeps and soaring builds to reveal a powerful production geared for the peak time, whilst a radio edit of the original cut completes the package.

"What Came First" is a new label dedicated to Electronic music which has been set up by the people behind Egg London club venue.

With the dance floor in mind, WCF aims to introduce rising new talents as well as working with established artists across a range of musical genres from techno to house and chill-out to alternative. 

It is a great time for Egg London to look how far we have come musically over the years and for the label artists, inspired by the unique energy of the club, to synthetize this vibe into their productions and music that we all can enjoy.
