The title track, August Rain, opens the story with quiet intensity. It's more than a song—it’s the emotional glue binding the entire EP. A soundtrack for moments we rarely speak of out loud: heartbreak we never got closure from, prayers whispered into pillows, and memories that refuse to fade. It sets the stage for the healing that follows.

Run Away Heart traces the ache of escaping pain only to realize love’s pull never really fades. Tears Watered the Seed takes us into the silent nights, when grief feels permanent—until God speaks in a dream, revealing that every tear had a purpose. And by the time we arrive at Learning to Love Again, the full circle is complete—not in perfection, but in growth. It’s not about forgetting the past; it’s about honoring it, and choosing to move forward with open hands.

‘Cry in Shame’ is about the pain of realizing they never saw the love you gave until it was too late. I gave him everything—my heart, my trust, my soul—and he didn’t treat it like it mattered. And now that I’m gone, now that I’ve finally walked away, he wants to feel something. But it’s too late. This song is me letting it all out—the heartbreak, the anger, the disappointment. If he’s crying now, it’s not out of love—it’s out of guilt. And that’s the real shame… not that it ended, but that he didn’t value it when it was real.
