Wow folks, that really was sublime ! I loved Alex's original piece and wondered how this would sound, every extra part from flute to guitars, synth and bass has been done so with incredible care to compliment the original and do so with taste and style. Really like this. An idea for you : get this on YouTube with a nice slide how of suitable images, perhaps some of Alex's paintings/designs or a photo montage supporting the Glimmering theme. I think this may reach a wider audience then when posted on prog sites etc. Well done everyone, well impressed :)

OK OK, let me get in a word here. So this things reminds me of Gustav Holst the Planets "Jupiter", meets Philip Glass, meets some mega prog rock super band. Really, it is not the melody necessarily, but the epic quality of composition, of juxtaposition of the melodic sections of this piece and so on. I will say that I think this piece could have carried on another 5 minutes and most folks wouldn't have noticed. Or cared. Really great job everybody, congratulations. Well mixed Viking Guy!!

An almost hypnotic piece of great Celtic-Ambient power... the focus is a distant lighthouse, which is situated on a wee rocky island which straddles the North Atlantic Ocean and the Norwegian Sea, which was once the northernmost inhabited point in the UK.

There is a place behind the battle lines where the Mechs of "Inverness Squadron", go to rest, re-supply, and recharge. It is informally known by the operators as "Tartan Mech Paradise". (TMP)

Lots of good times, whisky and inspirational bagpipe music to be had here... when the place hasn't been lit up by the enemy...

This track basically consists of a pair of themes which recur, one of them is actually very similar to the old music of the pipes, known as piobaireachd.
